    DRA 180 Series – rewriting of production/lab practicum courses for rewrite of undergraduate major B.A. (180B-design, assistant design, 180D-stage/dressing crew, 180E scenic lab, 180F-costume lab, 180G-lights, sound, projection lab)

New course development 2011-12

Dra 116 – Design on Screen (cross listed with CTS 116) course description: An introduction to the major practitioners of production design and art direction, costume design, or cinematography including design theory, general history, career opportunities in the field, and introductory principles and practices. Some attention will be given to design for television and other media as well.

New course development 2013-14

Dra 256 – Visual Language for Performance – new interdisciplinary MFA course for revamp of MFA program (pending approval). Course description: Exploration of different approaches and methods to the visual elements of performance. Focus on design and style for different media and genres, storytelling through visual elements of performance. Reading, research projects, creative projects, presentations.

Reorganization – 2011-12

      DRA 180 Series – rewriting of production/lab practicum courses for revamp of undergraduate major (180B-design, assistant design, 180D-stage/dressing crew, 180E scenic lab, 180F-costume lab, 180G-lights, sound, projection lab)

New course development 2011-12

Dra 116 – Design on Screen (cross listed with CTS 116) course description: An introduction to the major practitioners of production design and art direction, costume design, or cinematography including design theory, general history, career opportunities in the field, and introductory principles and practices. Some attention will be given to design for television and other media as well.

New course development 2013-14

Dra 256 – Visual Language for Performance – new interdisciplinary MFA course for revamp of MFA program (pending approval). Course description: Exploration of different approaches and methods to the visual elements of performance. Focus on design and style for different media and genres, storytelling through visual elements of performance. Reading, research projects, creative projects, presentations.
